Pepper screening drum is the final process of the entire pepper cleaning line. Its main function is to screen out small stems, remaining pepper seeds, and other small impurities to ensure the cleanliness of the final product. 1. Double-Layer Vibrating Square Sieve (Vibro-Sifter) This machine separates coarse and fine foreign matter (chaff, dust, broken grains) from the grain based on size difference. Function: There are two large sieve trays stacked on top of each other. Separation occurs as the grain slides over the sieves due to the vibration motors. Estimated Weight: Ranges from 600 kg to 1,100 kg depending on the width of the model. 2. Combined Screening and Air Separator (Aspiration Unit) This is the most comprehensive unit; it performs both size and weight classification. Function: While the orange vibration motors perform screening, the large white pipe on the left (aspirator) vacuums light empty grains and husks. Estimated Weight: Ranges from 1,500 kg to 2,500 kg due to its multi-layered structure and fan motors. 3. Wide-Case Horizontal Sieve Primarily used for pre-cleaning or high-capacity rough cleaning. Function: Its large surface area allows it to process high tonnage of product per hour. The top cover, secured with blue latches, opens easily for sieve replacement. Estimated Weight: Around 500 kg to 850 kg. 4. Drum Sieve (Rotary Sieve) Unlike others, it operates with a rotational motion rather than vibration. Function: Long or round foreign matter within the product is separated by the rotating cylindrical drum. It is commonly used as a "chaff sorter" at the entrance of flour mills. Estimated Weight: Ranges from 700 kg to 1,200 kg.
